Bodoni Bolight, designed by Filipa Alves of FontStruct, is a free modular slab serif display font with a stark, engineered build. Broad rectangular forms are cut by narrow joins, and blunt slabs finish the main strokes. The squared curves make the lettering feel closer to assembled panels than drawn contours.
That retro-futurist, machine-cut style suits science-fiction posters, game graphics, and electronic music packaging. It can also shape signage or merchandise for industrial and technology themes. The panel-like construction lets each letter act as part of a mechanical emblem, linking the typography directly to machinery and interface imagery.
