DBE-Beryllium, designed by Dave Panfili for DB-Elements LLC, is a free dry-brush display font with blunt, forceful strokes. Its letters have ragged edges, uneven weight, and scraped openings that resemble paint dragged across a rough surface.
The same raw construction can suit hard-edged music posters and skate merchandise, but it also gives food packaging or casual restaurant branding the directness of hand-painted signage. Those broken brush marks can echo ink splatters, distressed photographs, or screen-printed illustrations, letting the lettering become part of the artwork rather than a clean typographic layer.
