DCC Sharp Distress Black is a free eroded display font with tall, tightly packed letters and massive strokes. Deep scratches run through many forms, giving the surface a gouged, woodcut-like texture. Uneven edges keep the dense silhouette from looking too mechanical.
Posters are its strongest medium, especially for punk shows, horror events, and rugged sports promotions. It also suits album packaging and apparel graphics. The aggressive wear speaks directly to audiences drawn to underground music and hard-edged action culture.
