Eltops is a free distressed script font with restless, sharply drawn display lettering. Its thin strokes change direction abruptly, mixing needle-like slashes with cramped curves and blunt joins. The uneven proportions and wavering alignment make the alphabet resemble hurried marker writing roughly copied from a battered wall.
Punk gig posters and horror game graphics are very different settings, but the scratched, nervous line gives each an appropriately raw edge. On skate merchandise and magazine covers, it becomes a scrawled emblem.
