Flaemische Kanzleischrift by Typographer Mediengestaltung is a free formal calligraphic script built from pronounced thick-thin strokes and large, rounded capitals. Its sweeping flourishes provide most of the ornament. Long entry and exit strokes loop around the letters, and the smaller forms maintain a brisk forward movement across the line.

The looping penwork echoes ribbon illustration, so it can become part of engraved or botanical artwork on invitations, wine labels, and heritage packaging.
