FV Almelo by Floris Voorveld is a free condensed sans serif with tall capitals and softly rounded stroke endings. Its narrow, mostly even forms feel drawn rather than engineered, and the broad curves in letters such as O and U keep the dense silhouette from turning severe.
Retro poster design is its clearest setting. The elongated lettering suits music flyers, cafe branding, and editorial covers, especially when the surrounding graphics echo its rounded geometry.
