Half D, designed by Leo Barbosa of FontStruct, is a free geometric sans serif display font built from stark, even strokes. Its lettering reduces familiar forms to upright bars, flat crosspieces, and broad open areas, with squared corners softened by occasional rounded outer curves.
A poster series is the clearest setting for this stripped-back construction, particularly around architecture, technology, or experimental music. It also suits printed exhibition graphics, album covers, and minimalist product branding. The partial frames and open sides can echo windows, floor plans, or interface panels, making the letters part of the project imagery rather than ordinary text.
