Mirage Gothic by Carlos Mario Peña Solís is a free modern blackletter font with towering letterforms, knife-sharp points, and dramatic shifts from broad verticals to hairline joins. Its hooked curves give the lettering a restless, theatrical edge.
Publishing is its most convincing setting, especially for dark fantasy book covers and music magazines, where the ornate silhouettes can echo engraved borders or gothic illustration.
