Nyctophobia by David Kerkhoff is a free scary display font with raw, brush-scraped lettering. Its tall, uneven forms lurch across the line, with changing stroke widths and blunt edges that make the alphabet look hastily painted. Flecks, gaps, and stray marks deepen the damaged surface.
It can turn a horror title into part of the scene, suggesting warnings scrawled on a wall or signs left in a long-abandoned building.
