Pumpkinhead by Thomas W. Otto of Norfok Inc. is a free horror brush font with ragged, slashing strokes. Its uneven letters taper into sharp points, with broken edges and sudden changes in width that suggest hurried work with a heavily loaded brush.
Packaging gives hot sauce and Halloween candy an appropriately raw label. In game graphics and horror publishing, the pointed forms can merge with claw marks, ink splashes, or torn silhouettes, turning the lettering into part of the illustration.
