Scratched Junk by José "Beraka" Lobos is a free distressed brush display font with blunt, hand-cut capitals. Its uneven strokes and chipped edges resemble paint dragged across a rough surface.
It can push a punk concert poster toward photocopied grit, yet its torn shapes also fit horror game graphics. The marks feel fast and physical. On skateboard merchandise and underground album packaging, the letters can become part of the scratched artwork rather than simply naming it.
