Soolidium by Alberto Alberti of Soolid is a free heavy geometric sans serif with a broad, emphatic silhouette. Rounded curves and blunt joins give the letters a dense, molded construction. The forms are clean and tightly drawn, with little stroke variation.
Their solid shapes echo the blocks and simplified figures of graphic illustration, suiting sports graphics and game artwork. The same dense profile gives streetwear packaging and music posters a forceful urban edge. It is most convincing in logos, where each word becomes a compact emblem.
