Ray Larabieによる「Squealer Embossed」は、鋭くゴシックな印象を与える、ポスター向けの無料ブラックレター体フォントです。中世の尖った文字のフォルムをベースにしつつ、切り立った面やハードな影を強調することで、手書きのカリグラフィーというよりは、彫刻された看板のような立体的で力強い仕上がりになっています。

音楽イベントのフライヤー、ホラー映画のポスター、ビールラベル、ゲームのタイトルロゴ、あるいはインパクトのある見出しなど、歴史的な重厚感が求められる場面で自然に馴染みます。このフォントはすでにベベル（面取り）効果がデザインに組み込まれているため、イラストを追加しなくても、モノグラムやドロップキャップ、短いワードマークに深みのあるヴィンテージな質感を演出できます。
