Topaz-8, designed by Danny Amor, is a free pixel display font built from hard-edged, modular strokes. Its square corners, stepped diagonals, and open rectangular spaces recall early computer graphics, with sturdy forms that feel direct rather than delicate.
As an electronic display element, it can turn game menus and title cards into part of the interface rather than ordinary lettering. The same block construction suits retro software branding and technology-themed posters, where the letters can echo pixel icons, screen borders, and other grid-based artwork.
