VTC Sumi Slasher One Jittery Basterd by Larry E. Yerkes is a free horror display font built from spindly, high-contrast letters and thorn-like projections. Ragged edges, ink blotches, and hooked tips give the forms a scratched, unruly finish.
Its tangled branches can merge with creeping vines or distressed drawings on horror posters and game artwork. The lettering feels especially suited to dark fantasy and occult themes. Album covers and Halloween event graphics can use the same sharp silhouette as part of an illustrated emblem.
