VTKS SummerLAnd by Douglas Vitkauskas is a free scratchy calligraphic display font with a deliberately unruly hand. Abrupt pools of ink meet wiry hairlines, and the letters lean into long loops, hooks, and wandering strokes. Nothing here feels carefully rehearsed.
Its raw underground style suits experimental music posters and album packaging, where lettering can merge with gestural artwork. Fashion graphics and magazine covers can also use its tangled silhouettes to suggest hand-drawn notes, ink spills, or improvised signatures. It is most convincing on a poster, where the irregular strokes can become part of the image.
