5 Computerized is a free digital-retro display font with broad, squared letters and a homemade computer-era attitude. Long horizontal bars, abrupt right-angle turns, and narrow internal gaps make the alphabet resemble a row of circuit paths or early arcade lettering, with an uneven mechanical rhythm.
Technology and retro gaming are its clearest territory, putting the crude electronic edge to good use in game graphics and event posters. It can also give music merchandise and youth-focused packaging the look of a child's hand-drawn vision of imagined future machinery. Game title screens are its strongest use.
