BigBottom by Roland Frantz of Synergistic Designs is a free cartoon display font with lanky, hand-drawn forms and dark lower sections. Uneven outlines and changing stroke widths keep the shapes loose. The bottom-heavy fill is its defining joke.
That split between airy tops and solid bases suits children's publishing and offbeat food packaging, where lettering can behave like illustration. It also fits comedy posters and merchandise because the letters read as drawn objects. It speaks most directly to youthful brands with an irreverent streak.
