Dotled by Billy Argel Fonts is a free eroded display font with tall, narrow capitals and rounded slab-like serifs. Its dense forms carry stippled wear that shifts from scattered specks to broad scraped patches. The uneven distress resembles ink pulled from a damaged print block.
Concert posters are its strongest setting, especially for punk and underground music. Its battered texture also suits album packaging and streetwear, becoming part of the artwork. It speaks to audiences drawn to rough, handmade graphics in music and youth culture.
