Fontana Bold フォント

Fontana Bold by Neale Davidson is a free modern display font with towering proportions and extremely dense strokes. Its rounded rectangular forms press closely together, creating a dark, continuous silhouette with narrow white cuts inside the letters. The effect is blunt and architectural.

Youth and streetwear brands can use this forceful lettering for logos, packaging, and apparel graphics. It also suits nightclub flyers and sports posters, where the compressed shapes give limited wording the weight of a solid sign. The broad vertical bars and slot-like openings can echo stadium fixtures, industrial panels, or urban architecture in the surrounding artwork.

Fontana is based on the Pocket Books titling for Star Trek novels published during the 1970s and most of the 1980s. It is named after D. C. Fontana, a Star Trek author.
