Gridbreak Sans by bws1977 of FontShop International GmbH is a free grid-based techno display font built from broad, squared strokes with tightly fitted letterforms and stepped joins. Fine cuts divide the letters into tile-like units.
Its clearest role is in electronic music posters, where the modular construction recalls display screens, circuitry, and early computer graphics. The same hard-edged pattern gives game title cards and technology branding a compact, engineered texture rather than a plain geometric finish. Album packaging and event merchandise can also use the gridded breaks as part of a larger pixel, map, or circuit-board motif.
