King Harold by Harold Lohner is a free eroded medieval display font with rough, hand-hewn capitals. Uneven edges, blunt serifs, and shifting stroke widths give the letters the look of worn woodcut type rather than polished historical lettering.
It can create a weathered title for fantasy games, theatrical posters, and medieval festival signage. The chipped silhouettes also connect well with shields, castle illustrations, and carved-stone textures, allowing the lettering to become part of the scene instead of a caption.
