Luxi Mono Bold Oblique, designed by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow of Bigelow & Holmes Inc., is a free bold oblique slab serif with monospaced construction. Its steep lean, broad slab endings, and forceful thick-thin changes give the letters a brisk, mechanical edge.

Technology and industrial themes suit its engineered spacing and assertive slant. It can handle software branding, music posters, editorial covers, and game graphics. The blocky letters can echo interface panels, machinery diagrams, or angular illustrations.
