Major Scare by Xerographer Fonts is a free distorted horror display font with tall, uneven letters and a raw, hacked silhouette. Its strokes shift abruptly between thick swells and narrow cuts, giving each form a nervous, unstable shape. The edges look savagely torn.

Horror posters are its clearest home, especially for titles that should feel frantic rather than solemn. The same rough attack suits haunted-house event graphics, extreme music covers, and game artwork built around danger or decay. Across those uses, the recurring slashes and ragged notches can echo claw marks, damaged surfaces, or distressed illustration.
