Old Fax

Old Fax is a free eroded display font that mimics the dropouts, broken edges, and missing chunks of a badly transmitted fax. The damage is spread across the lettering rather than pasted on top, so the design keeps a blunt sign-like presence even as parts of each form splinter away.

That shredded texture gives short headlines a worn office-tech character, especially on poster titles, zine covers, album art, horror flyers, and glitch-themed branding. It can also punctuate packaging or social graphics where those irregular gaps and battered silhouettes help the text feel degraded, copied, and slightly unreliable.
