Pookie, Steven J. Lundeen’s free eroded display font, has the scruffy, ink-smeared mood of a battered typewriter pushed past clean impression. The letters look rubbed, blotted, and slightly chewed away at the edges, giving the alphabet a raw handmade drag rather than a neat printed finish.

That makes this free font a natural pick for zine covers, indie record sleeves, poster headlines, horror or noir title cards, and rough-edged packaging where a little grime helps set the tone.
