Private Death

Private Death by Mike Larson aka Mr. Fisk is a free handwritten horror font with the look of hurried brush marks carved into a wall. The letters feel raw and uneasy, mixing angular strokes, ragged edges, and splattered joins that push it toward punk flyers and B-movie dread rather than friendly script.

It works well on poster titles, album sleeves, zine covers, game title cards, and short merch graphics where a free font needs grit instead of polish. Because the shapes are blunt, uneven, and a little unstable, it suits brief words, monograms, and headline fragments that want to feel tense and handmade.
