Royal Font of Krondor, created by Goatmeal of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free pixel display font shaped like early game lettering. Its block-built forms mix tall upright strokes with abrupt steps, clipped corners, and narrow joins. Uneven silhouettes make the letters look hand-plotted on a coarse grid.
Designers working in retro fantasy and adventure games can use it for title screens, interface graphics, and promotional posters.
