Slice by Darrell Flood of Scanahand is a free brush display font with the forceful look of lettering made in a few quick strokes. Its changing stroke widths, blunt breaks, and ragged edges give the letters a raw, cut-paper silhouette, with upright forms interrupted by sharp flicks and hooked ends.

Music and action themes suit its fast, abrasive marks, making it useful for album artwork and game title screens. The lettering can become part of an illustrated slash, impact mark, or painted emblem. It also fits streetwear graphics and event posters built around an underground or confrontational atmosphere.
