Spanky’s Bungalow Italico, by Steven J. Lundeen, is a free retro display font with the punchy slant and carved highlights of mid-century sign lettering. The caps feel broad and theatrical, with deep angled cuts and bright inner slices that make the alphabet look chiseled from black paper rather than simply drawn.

It fits poster work, diner-style branding, album covers, title cards, event flyers, and big cover lines where a free font can carry a loud period mood fast.
