Stamp Act

Stamp Act by Harold Lohner is a free eroded display font with the blunt, battered authority of old rubber stamps and worn official markings. The letters are heavy and serifed, but their edges look chipped, torn, and uneven, so the whole font feels pressed by hand rather than neatly drawn.

That rough, bureaucratic voice suits poster headlines, zine covers, protest graphics, title cards, packaging, and short branding where a free font needs a used, analog bite instead of a clean finish. It works best in brief settings, because the distressed shapes give even a few words the look of something stamped, handled, and slightly frayed by time.
