Textura Quadrata, by David F. Nalle, is a free medieval Gothic font with the tight, faceted rhythm of textura blackletter. The letters feel cut from dark ribbon - sharp, angular, and formal - with pointed joins and compact vertical movement that give the font a sober manuscript voice.

It fits naturally in book covers, fantasy branding, event posters, game title cards, and certificate headings where a historical mood matters more than softness. As a free font, it also works well for short pull quotes, chapter openings, and monogram-like initials, because the dense silhouette and broken strokes carry plenty of period character in just a few letters.
