Veneto

Veneto by Tomoyuki Watanabe is a free retro display font with theatrical, Art Nouveau-leaning caps. The letters feel broad and dramatic, with soft swollen shapes, deep notches, and curling botanical ornament that turns the font from simple vintage lettering into something more poster-like and a little decadent.

It fits naturally in packaging, cafe menus, event posters, book covers, and title cards where a short line can carry some period mood on its own. As a free font, Veneto also works well for monograms and drop caps, since the decorative curls give even a single letter enough presence to hold a layout.
